Škripavac is a traditional Croatian cheese, special because, when consumed it causes creaking under the teeth as You eat it. Hence the name (Škripanje – Creaking)
EURO-MILK Škripavac is a semi-hard 38% milk fat cheese made from freshly pasteurised milk.
The creaking comes to the full expression in the first 14 days since the cheese has been made. Škripavac cheese is great to combine with other foods like various salads, traditional cured meats or pumpkin seed oil. It also makes an excellent baked cheese with meat dishes.
