It's the 11th. Year in a row the Croatian Small Dairy Association organizes the manifestation "Days of Croatian cheeses" with the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture, which aims to promote the local, quality, indigenous products of the association members. This year the host of the event was the dairy of Antun Bohnec from Ludbreg and an exhibition of Croatian cheeses was held on Saturday 07. In the exhibition space of the Bohnec family house in Ludbreg. As part of the event, every year, a month before the event in cooperation with the Dairy Institute of the Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb maintains the evaluation of the products of the association members.

This year, 12 members of the association sent a total of 31 products for evaluation, and on Saturday, winners of Bronze, silver and gold medals and the title of the champion were proclaimed. The members of the association who sent the products for evaluation and exhibitors at the event are: Dairy Biogal – from Donji Daruvar, the dairy company from Babina Grede, the EURO-MILK dairy from Beloslavac, Siran I-PAK from Pak's village, the dairy Antun Bohnec from Ludbreg, MIH Dairy from Kolan, Mini dairy Veronika from Desinic, the BIZ dairy from Pleternica, dairy Bosnić from Studenaca, Latus Dairy from Zminj, dairy runolist Otočac, and dairy Vesna Loborika from Marcana.

By rigorous evaluation, analysis and scoring, distinguished professors and doctors of science from the Faculty of Agriculture determined the medal winners, and the absolute winner of the exhibition was the EURO-MILK dairy from Beloslavac, whose "Nobleman's cheese" was declared This year's champion, while for Sir Dragec smoked and liquid yogurt won gold medals.

The host of this year's manifestation, Mr. Đuro Bohnec, said in his welcoming speech: "Today is the opportunity to taste what it would take in our stores instead of imported goods. Just the other day I was reading in the paper what we should eat and how we should make cheeses home. Fortunately we still have healthy products that are produced in our little dairy. Therefore, pay attention to what you are purchasing, choose a local and it will be more beautiful for all of us. "

Among the numerous visitors were attended by Dalibor Janda, head of the Department for Livestock Farming in the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as the prefect of Varaždin County Alen Kišić and Ludbreg Mayor Dubravko Bilic.
