Scones with kajmak
Simple, fluffy scones made with kajmak, which can be purchased after a long time in most food stores.
INGREDIENTS
- 600 g of soft flour (you can also use other flour)
- 1 sachet (7 g) of dry yeast or baking powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 150 g Kajmak
- 150 g star margarine
- 3 DCL Lukewarm milk
- 1 egg
- Sprinkles as desired: sesame, poppy, rosemary, chit, salt, cumin...
PREPARING
- Place margarine and milk in one bowl and warm briefly, just to dissolve the margarine, and the milk to be measy.
- Put flour, yeast, sugar and salt into the pan. Add the cream, margarine and milk.
- Notice the smooth, slightly sticky dough, I did not add any flour.
- Roll the dough on the flour surface to a thickness of 1-2 cm.
- The scones are cut with shapes as desired.
- Put them in a pan coated with baking paper, and leave it warm.
- Turn the oven on 220C and leave to keep it warm.
- When the oven is warmed up, stir one egg, sprinkle it slightly, coat the scones with a brush, sprinkle on them sprinkles as desired and place them in a preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the blush, not every oven is the same.
NOTE
- Here you will get about 4 pots of all-small scones, or 2-3 tepsy if you're going to work bigger.
